Harry has been designing games since childhood. Whether he was creating new tabletop games using Pokemon Cards (while unknowingly reducing their value to $0), creating massive story arcs with Middle Earth Warhammer, or spending approximately 1000 hours playing with the underrated level editor in TimeSplitters Future Perfect.

He studied NQ Media Studies at Cardonald College, NQ Radio Production at Glasgow Metropolitan College (Now City of Glasgow College), BA(Hons) Creative Industries at Edinburgh Napier University and BA(Hons) Game Design and Production Management at University of Abertay, Dundee.

During his studies, Harry became proficient in a multitude of software, including audio/video editing suites, productivity software, 3D modelling software, and game engines.

In 2017, he relocated to Toronto, Canada and started working as an indie developer creating small prototypes for games and occassionally contributing to other team projects.

In April 2020, he created a small casual game for Ludum Dare, which he then took all the way to release on Steam in July of the same year.

In Jan 2021 Harry was hired as a Technical Designer at Alpha Channel Inc where he worked in Unreal Engine 5. His duties include creating all in-game cinematics, authoring technical level design/quest flows, prototyping systems and working with programmers to implement them in-game, mentoring junior team members and assisting with narrative design.

As of August 2023, Harry has been at Ubisoft Toronto. Originally hired as Lead Cinematic Designer, Harry trained the team in visual scripting and coordinated the team’s title change from Cinematic Designers to Event Scripters. In Harry’s role as Lead Cinematic Event Scripter, Harry works on multiple AAA titles simultaneously, ensuring cutscenes and seamless realization moments are integrated into the games. Harry also works with Tech, Realization, Animation and Cinematic Directors to ensure the cutscenes work smoothly with all the technical/creative limitations for the projects.
